Tuesday 11th April 2017 - Speaker event Humanist Pastoral Care in the UK by Edward Prout from the British Humanist Association who will talk in general about the fantastic work of Humanist Pastoral Carers who go into Prisons and Hospital to support the non-religious - http://humanistcare.org.uk
Tuesday 9th May - Speaker event Reconciliation After Conflict by Kemal Pervanic - A survivor of the notoriously brutal Omarska concentration camp, he witnessed first-hand horrific acts of genocide, some of which were perpetrated by individuals whom he knew personally. He has since dedicated his work to education, reconciliation and peace-building. We are honoured to have Kemal come to speak to us in Windsor about his work in building reconciliation - http://www.mostmiraproject.org
We meet on a normal month usually at 7.30pm for tea, coffee, wine or a beer second Tuesday of most months. Our informal events aim to link up like minded people in the Windsor area.
Our normal Venue is the award winning Waterman Arms which is located near to the Eton Bridge and the Brocas Meadow

The World Humanist Congress was held in August 2014 in Oxford. My motivation for setting up the Windsor Humanist Group was inspired by my attendance at this amazing once in a lifetime event - I met Richard Dawkins and many of the other great thinkers of our time.
